We’ve created a simpler way to add auction items for your auction.
Image Prep #
The most work left for you in adding items is prepping the supplied images.
If you use Photoshop, just exporting images at 1500px max dimension in jpg format, medium quality is all that is required.
If you don’t use Photoshop, we have a couple of alternate suggestions to make image prep easy.
There is a Windows Image optimization tool – RIOT (free download) that will resize and optimize images with just a drag & drop.
Another option is using an Online Optimizer tool like https://shortpixel.com/
Just use settings feature to set the max dimensions to 1500px and drop your files on the optimizer page.
The Easy Auction Item Entry Form #
The Easy Auction Item form is designed to allow adding auction items quickly with redundant info handled automatically by the system.
Use the link provided in your dashboard or direct to the form at:
https://[yourdonorst-site]/easy-auction-item-entry-form/
This form is secured behind the login system, so going directly there will result in an error message unless you are already logged in.
Simple provide all the required information and add a featured image. If you need to add additional images in a gallery, you’ll need to take a few extra steps to make them show up. We’re working on an update for this. Please see the tutorial below for additional information.
